So yesterday it was 80 degrees, and we knew there was a cold front coming, but I wasn't exactly expecting this! I can't stop watching it...yes, I'm from Arizona. Lish is going to call me a geek at some point, I think. In case you can't tell because the video is kind of small...yes, it's snowing!

Snow?? I do not do snow. You'll have fun with it the first year(like a kitten) then you'll be frustrated it next year.

I'm liking the weather here because it is always changing. So much different (and welcome!) from six months of "100+ degrees and brain-baking sun today."
I can't understand why everyone assumes that I'm going to get tired of the weather quickly. I spent 42 years roasting in the AZ sun, and really, I've had enough to last a lifetime. My mother spent the first 20 years of her life in upstate NY, and then she moved to AZ with her parents, and she hates the cold. She would never go back to someplace cold. Why wouldn't the opposite be true as well, as in after spending 40 years in the unrelenting heat, you would enjoy and embrace cold? I've always hating being hot, as far back as I can remember.
And it's supposed to be 80 again by the weekend. Yuck. Too hot. ;)

Seriously, though, I hope you enjoy cooling off after all your years in AZ. The way I look at it, the more people that like living where it snows leaves more room down here where it doesn't.
Now, now...I would never call you a geek (after all, we are too much alike!)

I miss Denver sooooo much. I moved back to Missoula, MT 12 years ago, and I miss CO. Crazy weather, 70 degrees one day, a foot of snow the next and 3 days later back to wearing shorts. Most of all I miss the sun, we get socked in here most all winter... Enjoy!!
